About Samadi Yoga
After graduating from California State University of Northridge with a Degree in Television and Film, I spent a decade long career in television production and game shows. During this time I understood the negative effects of chronic stress; anxiety, fatigue and lack of mental clarity. I wanted to improve my mental and physical health and went back to practicing yoga which I was introduced to during my college years.
My first experience with yoga occurred while in my early 20’s and a few years later I committed to a consistent daily practice. Soon thereafter I attended my first Teacher Training in the Spring of 2002.
In 2008, I opened my first yoga studio and seven years later opened a second yoga studio near Downtown Los Angeles. After working 6-7 days a week for over 10 years, I knew it was time to slow down and made a tough decision to close the doors to my yoga studios in 2018. Shortly after, with the encouragement of a long-time student, I began writing my first book, “Finding Home; A Path to Emotional Stability and Self Healing”. During this period I continued teaching privately along with conducting workshops locally and internationally.
In March of 2020, I began teaching daily livestream classes and continue to do so until today.
All classes present balanced sequences suitable for practitioners at all levels. The Samadi Yoga program consists of Hatha Yoga (Mostly Vinyasa and Ghosh Styles), Meditation, and Yin Yoga. Mat Pilates classes are also offered for coordination and low- impact strengthening along with Muscle Control Therapy classes designed for prevention and recovery of common injuries in the shoulders, back, hips and knees.
Samadi Yoga offers Workshops, Retreats, Corporate Wellness Programs along with Individualized & Group Teacher Training Programs.
